So in the area where I live, there are several cities that just kind of run into each other.
The news published an article saying; "In Boise, Halloween will be celebrated on Sunday - October 31st. In Eagle, Nampa, Meridian(Where I am) and Caldwell - city leaders say they are leaving it up to each individual family to decide what's best. If you want to hand out treats, pick the night that works best for you."
I put a sign out on my fence this morning saying come and see us on Sunday night. As I will still be all lit up tonight. I had a neighbor say to me that her daughter and friends will be going on Saturday night and had plans on Sunday night so couldn't they just come by and go through the garage maze? I told her no because I made plans with people to be here Sunday night to staff it, my son and his buddy both requested that night off work and other people that are coming made plans to be here Sunday night not Saturday.
Now the city of Meridian is complaining because they are getting hundreds of calls because people don't understand what night to trick or treat. That's what they get, they should have left it alone. Or if anything just said Halloween is Sunday the 31st.
Thank you, rant over

Yeah that is messed up. Some people plan on being home to hand out treats on one night and plan on going somewhere the other night. Politicians...making no sense since 1776.

There are other holidays besides Halloween? When did they start that?
