So the weather here in Salt Lake went to hell the last few days. We had massive wind, lots of rain and now snow! YES SNOW!

It's supposed to even rain on Saturday.

Basically, my display is about 40% what it normally is. The graveyard blew over and I'm not touching that area until Saturday afternoon due to the weather.

That means I get to spend Friday setting up everything again.

Then I hope and pray Saturday isn't much rain.

Sorry to hear about your troubles. Its best to play it safe and hopefully get a break in weather so that you can redo the display. Best of luck to ya!

I'm in Boise, and it seems to be calming down a bit here, wind wise. So hopefully the calm will be coming your way.

Yep windy like crazy in Colorado too. I saw people's halloween stuff blowing all over the neighborhood. I felt so bad for them

It's supposed to get nicer this afternoon, really nice tomorrow and Friday, then as Zombie Sean mentioned, scattered showers on Saturday (our Halloween)

I think we're done with the wind and snow later today, so I can start hanging the black plastic and start getting props out that I was worried about the wind taking out

Well today was nicer. Still snow on the ground, but I expect it to be melted by tomorrow. Either I'll set everything up again then or Friday.

Rain is expected Saturday, but they said it won't be too bad.

Looks like they are calling for wind here....AAARRR....Hopefully NOT like last year.....I'm so glad I have most of it set up inside a building and even the second half of the graveyard that is set up outside is protected fairly well from the wind.....The weather is so unpredictable this time of year....What really burns me is all the GREAT weather leading up to party night...Even though I have the important stuff covered, wind means no bonfire or low lying smoke in the graveyard....2 years ago the weather was PERFECT....Alot can happen between now and Sat so I'm crossing my fingers....ZR
