Thread: Halloween night

Do you stick around to get the comments on your set up ? I'm supposed to take the kids trick or treating. This is the first year i've really decorated so I kinda want to stick around and see the results.
I was thinking about getting hubby to take the kids out this year but I don't know.
What do those of you with kids do ?

There's no way my husband and I can leave our house because we have to operate sound effect and we are dressed up roaming in front of the house while my friend passes out candy. Every year we are told by parents that we are the best house! My mother is coming over and taking our kids trick or treating.

This will be the first year that my daughter is old enough to TOT with her friends without supervision. In the past, hubby and I took turns on whom would stay home to give out candy and who would take my daughter out to TOT.

You get 'em as you go. That's always been the challenge for me, that I can't host the haunt if I'm trick or treating with the kids.

My wife takes my son and I stay home to had the candy out.

Lucky for me as my youngest is 13 and he is "getting to old for that stuff"

I do have 3 grandchildren but that is up to the parents to walk and walk and walk as I did my share with them when they were younger...... I roam the front yard talking to the parents and really love this part of Halloween!

I stay home passing out candy/hosting and the husband takes the kids trick or treating.
