Just curious...what do you have or do that gets the most reaction from visitors. Seems for us, it's my hubbie. He's tall 6'5 and about 270lbs....loves to dress up and just act creepy..skulks around the cemeteries...or just shadows a TOTer. Sends them running and screaming. He rarely makes any noise...just moves very slowly.

"Oh no, no," said the little Fly, "for I've often heard it said
They never, never wake again, who sleep upon your bed!"

Last year I did Jason Voorhees, most people couldn't tell if I was real or not until I made a move. I had a group in a van pull up just to take a group photo with me.
2008 was my pumpkin monster I had in the front yard. It was 3 large pumpkins high with arms and it had pumpkin pieces falling out of its mouth and in its hands and then smashed pumpkins on the ground in front of it, people really got a kick out of that.

A Halloween prop is a terrible thing to waste..

my bubble fogger. it's a total kids magnet.
Life is too short to not do what makes us happy, keeps us sane, or both.

Me. I dress in head to toe black with one of those faceless hoods and prowl the cemetery and surrounding yard. I scare more adults than kids I think because the kids in masks have limited vision and can't see me in the shadows. had one lady who wouldn't come up the driveway after i stood up from behind a tall tombstone--and I wasn't even trying to be, I was just adjust the stakes that held it in place. She shrieked and stayed at the curb some 40 feet away while her kid marched past me like I wasn't there.

I like to tape bubble wrap to the sidewalk in front of the house, the kids absolutely LOVE it.

Actually, my gravestone peeper, of all the animated stuff I put out. It is not the typical peeper that moves across the back of the stone, it goes straight up and down and the head turns a bit side to side. Also it was made from a hollow blow mold "ghoul" head so I strung motion activated leds inside that flash making it light up as it moves. Its pretty cool but still, I like my FCG way better, as that is the more eerie effect. But people seem captivated by the peeper. Go figure.
Its so nice to be insane, no one asks you to explain...

HA! If I had bubble wrap and the bubble-fogger I'd amuse myself for hours! It amazes me that every year it's some little thing that gets the attention.
I had forgotten that last year I found a crazy-cheap wriggling hand that I thought would break in 2 mins....turned it on..tossed it in the driveway and just watched the kiddies dance around it, poke at it and stare. The grown-ups did the screaming and running away...lol"Oh no, no," said the little Fly, "for I've often heard it said
They never, never wake again, who sleep upon your bed!"
