Remember, rain and wind is spooky. How many spooky movies don't have windy/rainy nights as part of the plot? It sucks for props and trick or treat, but we have to make the most of it and enjoy the night for what it is. The spooks don't care if it's rainng, they actually prefer it, so I would recommend cuddling up with a scary movie and keeping an eye out. I would also recommend taking Monday off from work. I did.

Wind and rain suck...wind sucks more. A few things got blown over today and I went to do a fog check tonight and the fog came out of the machine and took a hard left and ended up three counties away.

Rain and Wind suck but we also have snow the monster of it all to worrie about on halloween.
I do halloween for the kids because it puts a smile on their face. Parents won't let there kids go out on halloween with weather conditions like that.

It's pretty windy as we speak, gotta go check the tombstones!
halloween is a super cool holiday.

The past 2 days here have been sunny during the day, with thunderstorms in the evening. Infact theres a storm coming right now, sounds like a big one too.
The forecast for Saturday is sunny and humid, and Sunday is high level clouds, mild. so it should be good
I was actually hoping for some clouds on sunday. A cloudy night is perfect for Halloween.

If only there was someway we could have thunderstorms during Halloween and have it not affect haunts or trick or treaters...t'would be an epic Halloween!

I HATE Rain & Winds in October! Love rain any other time as long as it does not interfere with my Halloween Haunt! But your idea is nice as long as it is 2 weeks before or after Halloween!
A Halloween prop is a terrible thing to waste..

Wind sucks even without rain. I usually reposition my foggers at least 4 times the night of halloween.

I like wind and rain on halloween, it makes it more spooky...
Shadows of a thousand years rise again unseen,
Voices whisper in the threes, "Tonight it's halloween!"

Colorado in years past would get our first or biggest snow on Halloween but the last few years it's been really nice. *knock on wood*

Okay, I'll take the rain, but you can keep the wind (and 40 mph gusts today). My yard haunt don't need that!
