    Since when ?

I went to Home Depot yesterday to pick up some more flood lights and noticed they sell the awesome pink foam insulation now. Guess I need to get out more huh? I had completely given up on ever being able to make my own headstones out of the stuff, and now I can buy it. Guess I'll grab a couple of sheets and start working on next year's haunt. LOL

There were a number of posts about it a while back. Hanging out at Home Depot and Lowes always has its benefits!

There was quite a while where supply of it in California at least dried up and only the white stuff was available (which makes more of a mess when you cut it). I think it had something to do with California regulations most likely and the producers having to reformulate it.

I plugged in the Sacramento Home Depot store at the Truxel Road location in Sacramento and under Building Materials, Insulation, Sheathing came up with Foamular pink foam in 2 x 48 x 96 in; 1/2 x 48 x 96 in; 1 in x 48 x 96 in; 3/4 x 48 x 96 inch size sheets being sold in store at that location. Didn't try any other locations in the area (quite a few it looks like) but if you are looking for some still, the HD website is pretty helpful showing who has what in store.

For HD, pick your local store first then search for "FOAMULAR".

Lowes doesn't appear to have the selection that HD does. Since lowes carries the Dow blue foam (not the Owens Corning pink foam), you don't want to search by Foamular since that is a Corning brand name. Instead search by "insulated sheathing".
