Forgive me if this has been posted before on HalloweenForum, I checked and could not find an reference.
I found out the other day from a co worker of an event in my state (MI) called "Theatre Bizarre The Greatest Masquerade on Earth". She asked if I was going...never hearing of it before I asked for more information. She briefly explained it having gone last year and this.
I was astounded.
Nutshell...a couple of guys took an abandoned city block in Detroit, got a bunch of volunteers to spend two months turning it into TB for 1 night, dusk to dawn of fun.

And...sad news: http://www.freep.com/article/2010102...oween-carnival
I have always been excited about Halloween, and have always wanted to create a haunted house experience for my area, but this is beyond any and all ideas I have ever had.
I was told that they only sell (trying to confirm this now) 2000 tickets until this year where they upped it to 3000 tickets. My coworker said they stood in line for 4 hours to get tickets, but it is worth it (she also said they are sold out now bummer).
All I can say is YES...please sign me up for next year please. TB 2011, here I come!
