Anybody Else Gettin' Nervous?

Well My Dear Haunters & Haunterettes....the day is quickly approaching! Soon the little ones...& big ones will be knocking upon our doors to see the great marvels of people who love Halloween!

We here at Collinwood 841 are getting a bit ansy as the day is just around the corner & we are pretty behind. These large orders we had to do from our tiny little business are still going on. Had hoped we'd be done by today to start back in on the halloween stuff. I'm not sure but Jer said we can pull it all off........I guess we'll see......but from knowing most of you on this board for quite some time....its seems as the days dwindle, we seem to move into high gear!

Still got lighting issues to be dealt with outside. Frightening foyer needs about another hour of work. Spell & Potion Room....jeez...I 'll be in there awhile. Kitchen & Living room not even started. Nor the Bat Room. Garage has most things in place but music & lighting & some organizing needs to be done. The worse thing going on right now is I cannot find my battery charger for my camera and we do take photos of all the people who come.

So I'm gonna get off my big butt as soon as I get this wonderfully hot cup of Tea down & finish these orders today>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>NO MATTER WHAT........and....then I'm gonna get this joint in order.

Thank God I have all of you & I can come here daily to keep me reminded & motivated to keep plowing ahead with things. I love you guys!!

Anybody else got a nervous twitch about how behind they are as we approach the "8th Day" mark?

I'm also a bit nervous, but haloween is to much fun.. well, not so fun when kids knock on your door in the middle of your bitrhday -.-

I'm with you Muffy...I have a FCG sitting in pieces in my upstairs livingroom. Have had all the pieces to build it but procrastination set in and then a flu almost as nasty as pneumonia set in on my husband. He's been sick as a dog all week and I've been tending him and admittedly nagging him a bit to work on my FCG (does that make me a bad wife??lol)

So now 8 days to go and he is feeling better and starting to build the FCG...crossing my fingers that it all comes together.

worried about the weather, that's about it. I've been mostly setup for a week.

^Amen to that! Most of the people around me are not too enthusiastic about the holiday. That, and being burned out from all other things makes it easy to lose focus and motivation.

yes i'm getting nervous too! i haven't finished my alien head and the ufo is in pieces. i bet the neighborhood is even wondering if i'm doing halloween at all this year. i'm not doing the graveyard this year so there is no early warning/er notice of impending halloween. i also have to make new audio tracks with alien ufo sounds and ambiance. ahhhhhhhhhhhhh

I have the week off and have a list of things to finish up. My biggest concern is the weather, as it is every year but I managed to get several smal projects done today and yesterday so I put myself ahead of the game. I'll be in good shape if I have a few nice days to get a bit of painting done and do a final light test. I't stress, but it's a fun type of stress!
