For me its the fog bubble machine. Of all my props this is the one the kids like the most, young and old. Stick it outside with a 4 inch fan blowing upward and kids will have to be dragged away by their parents.

Its actually forced us to not get up when we see shadows coming towards the porch since they quite often abruptly stop

Amazing they started out at 30 bucks and now are up to 80!

This woman is a great salesman

    What's your secret weapon?

Oh and here's another far less expensive idea!

Pretty low-tech by me...everyone loves low-lying fog and blue spotlights. I am attempting a fcg this year so we'll see how that goes over And I'm drooling over a bubble fogger but my budget isn't allowing that this year.
Halloween is the only day you can wear whatever you want, put on too much makeup and people still give you candy...of course it's my favorite holiday!!!

ohhh bubble fogger! Must put that on my want's list.

I'm not sure since it's the first year I'll be doing it. But I hope my transparent floating talking head will be a hit this year. I'll be testing it out this weekend.

I am trying a regular bubble machine (bubbles only/no fog) this year, at the end of my driveway, with a red flood light - but I would love one of these too! Maybe I'll get lucky at the after holiday sales!?

Fluorescent bubble fluid with a bubble fogger would be an awesome effect. Has anyone tried making bubble fluid out of tonic water? It's blacklight reactive...

Ours is our pumpkin blood fountain. It was the really the first prop my hubby ever made and we bring it out each year...always a crowd pleaser. Pretty simple with a small aquarium pump, just have to be sure to water down the blood so it flows easier.
