Someone turned us in ... to the local paper! They contacted me a few days ago and asked if they could come and take some photos. I agreed and they called yesterday and set up to have a photographer come out on Friday at 6 pm to take photos at dusk. I'm super excited! Now it's crunch time though. I have so much I want to have done by Friday that I'm going to have to work nonstop to get it all done. Well, I guess I'll have to prioritize because I won't be able to get it ALL done.

I started decorating about 7 years ago, the Halloween after we moved into our Neighborhood. The first year we got 10 TOTs. I was pretty disappointed. It's been a progression over the years through word of mouth, and last year we were up to about 120. I've wanted lots more though! Hopefully with the photo in the paper, we'll see an increase in our TOTs.

That's awesome. I'm happy for you. I wish we could be noticed in the paper. I can't wait to see the paper.

Been there, Done that. It feels great! At last some validation that is concrete to look at, showing your efforts are appreciated. Congrats and have fun!!!!!!! You have earned it. Oh yeah, the crowds will possibly triple but their make up will probably change to a much higher percentage of adults. Its just as much fun to scare adults, maybe more. My son had one lock herself in her car for 20 minutes before she would let the rest of her party in so they could leave.
