I was out on the porch and this little girl about 10 years old goes by and stops. She starts telling me how her grandma and her always walk by the house and the just love my display! She said her grandma thought my reaper was too spooky. This girl went on to say if they had a decorating contest for Halloween we would win! This just made my whole day!

awww that kinda happened to me tonight too. This little girl walked by with these other kids and said' Aww look at that house. It's so pretty'. Made my night.

Aren't kids the greatest? I have two little guys that live across the street fom me and they are my biggest fans. They also give me advice about what to place where and what else I should do. I came home one day and they had about ten other kids standing in the street looking at the yard while one of the little boys gave a running spiel about me and my yard. I think he has a future as a tour guide!

I rolled my funeral carriage out yesterday, so today when the mail lady showed up, I asked her if it was in the way.
She said no, and how great it looked, then commented that she had brought her son by the other day and now she needs to bring him back again.

When I was putting up some finishing touches an older couple drove up and stopped and commented on my display. They said they had to bring thier grandkids by to see it since it was so authentic, whatever that means.
Its so nice to be insane, no one asks you to explain...
