So I went outside to call my kids in and much to my HORROR my neighbor has Orange lights out!

I take this as an active challenge. After all, I am the ONLY one in our part of the neighborhood that does anything for Halloween (or any other holiday!)

So I go inside and look at hubby and say 'they have LIGHTS out'

he looks at me and says 'who? what lights?'

so after i sputter out the situation he goes out on the porch (i guess to verify I wasn't just hallucinating).

when he comes back in I look at him and tell him that I will be buying more lights this week.

Good, supportive (even if hes not in to halloween) hubby that he is he says 'thats fine, just wait till you get paid' LOL

Meanwhile, I fear that I may have to join or form a 'Griswold Support Group'. Although I fear it may become a competition amongst each other. LOL


(PS Secretly I am thrilled to see someone else decorating, but am quite serious when I say they can NOT have more than me, which they don't in terms of props, but I must have more lights too, if that is what they are using. LOL)

hmmm if only i could use power tools without fearing the loss of a limb. LOL

heh...there's a guy who lives down the street from me who's had his lights up since the first...
