Okay heres my dilemma.I have a small house...kitchen ,like a bowling alley 11' x 28'.living room 24' x 28'and will have to use unfinished basement. But i'm outta room and my guest list has grown...at leat 40 so far.I have a covered porch but hubby refuses to put wood up to enclose it for extra room...says tarps will work....but it will be cold..Its gonna be only 10 out that day and down to 5 at night with rain. Not to mention i have 2 guest rooms and thats it.I dont know what to do.I am assuming most of our friends will cab home because they are close but where do i jam everyone. Also will have to lock our poor cat in our room for the night since more than 3 people turns him into crazy kitty who bites.I was thinking of stapling cardboard onto the porch and then tarps...throw down a carpet and then use our propane heater...but is this safe? Dont need any fires.
As for sleeping..i have a sleep six camper with heater so it may help.
Please help....need ideas.Seating , sleeping, room to move lol...porch enclosure thats cheap easy and safe. Thanks everyone...starting to panic.

    Small house ?
Our kitchen is 12' x 8', and the living room around 16' x 14' - fairly standard for new builds in England
We only have one spare room, and have maybe 6 to 8 kipping over.We have a couple who got dibs on the spare room, so the rest of them will be on the floor / sofas in the living room.We may even have a couple in a tent in the garden....
We don't worry too much about seating - we have 2 sofas and will have a table and four chairs in the garden. We usually get a hardcore of around 6 in the kitchen for the night, and a gazebo out back with a patio heater. We'll probably have between 20 and 30 guests.
Just cram them in, and when it comes to sleep time hopefully they'll be drunk and not care where they are.Works for us

Well , if you can cram that many in i guess i shouldnt panic. Have a habit of trying to perfect everything down to a tea.Guess your right...blankets are plentiful and lots of floor space too.Thanks..
