How many people to run your haunt?

How many people does it take to staff your haunt? We need no less than 5 but it works better with 6 or 7 to get all of our scares in.

Five this year, but we've scaled back over the past three years. One year we had 28 including a High School Football team dressed as a Zombie Security Force. Ya get carried away, the Pizza and Soda bill can kill ya!

I sure could use 6 but so far no volunteers to help so its just the 2 of us & boy it gets crazy.

We use around 12.........mostly actors..........and we have a few more new recruits this year.......most of our cast has been with us for 6 years now. I even jump in for a few scares of which i miss but its gotten so big now.......i run around fixing things and managing the cast. Hopefully i'll be able to ride around on the Monster mower and provide some startles.

I've spent TONS/$$$ - VSA/Fright Ideas stuff/pneumatics so I can run it myself....Mine feels more like an amusement park haunt but everyone seems to enjoy it....ZR

Yup! We feed our crew too and it ain't cheap.

Gotta get out and recruit! I'm having to find two fresh bodies for this year as a couple of my regulars have bowed out. I may ask some adult friends first. They might get a kick out of it.

As we scale back, I aspire to something like you've done; more automation. It's the spending of "TONS of $$$" that I'm not wild about!

Just me and the hubby doing our haunt most of the time, except on the last day that we let the neighbors go through. By then, sometimes our out of town guests have arrived and are eager to help us scare the kiddies.

We have 9, not including hubby (who hangs around waiting to fix anything that breaks) and me (who is in charge of childcare all night!). Any more than that is just bonus, since we rely on volunteers.

Super psyched this year, we just had 3 15-yr old boys volunteer to be flesh-eating zombies.
