and I have not even started putting decorations up. Between a full school load 60 hour work weeks and getting ready for a baby that's likely to be here next month time simply has not existed to do much.
Props shall go un-built, and yard will only start up tomorrow. Costume is still an unknown and there is no money to even go buy one. The only thing that has been done are the treat bags for the tot's.
So tomorrow the real work begins hopefully I can get done. Time crunch is a great motivator.
How is everyone else doing?

I thought you were offering my last chance for pie. haha
anyway I have a default costume ready, but I'm trying to think of a way I could make the Wilkins/vampire costume from "Trick r Treat." If Ican't get it done in time I'm gonna be a Frankensteins.
No decorations yet, but I think that'll happen tomorrow.

Pretty much in the same position. Hoping to get going tomorrow. I think I can, I think I can. I'm the little engine that could scare the crap out of people. (Ok, not really.)
Seriously, stay positive, do what you can and enjoy it.

Ditto. I do have a costume, but only because I picked it up at a garage sale while searching for Halloween props. My yard display is an outright disaster. Old furniture (intended for the "real" display the day of), cheap styrofoam tombstones, blow molds, and lighted wire decorations do not mix well. There've been so many thefts in the neighborhood that I scrapped my original plan and basically tossed everything that could handle the weather outside. Definitely need to fix that. Right now passersby would be forgiven for thinking the house had undergone a foreclosure, or a police raid....
(We will not even discuss how far behind I am on prop building. Time to scrap them and focus on what I can whip together before the big day).

All my prop idea got scrapped for this year for the most part, hoping I can still manage to get a broken streetlight I have planned made. But all the paper mache work and such is a no go for certain. Sadly I must admit knowing others are in the same boat, as it were, does make me feel somewhat better. LOL
