I mean, really, it's mid october! I guess little old ladies and moms start buying this stuff already or else they wouldn't have it out. I was also completely disgusted with the "Christmas in July" BS they pushed this year. I'm not really that religious, but i think it's disgraceful that Christmas has become so commercialized that they're trying to get us to celebrate it in July as well as December (even though conspiracy theorists allege Christmas was actually in the summer) and that they start pushing stuff TWO holidays in advance. ANNOYING!!![]()

Yeah, I hate seeing Christmas stuff in the stores right now. Knew it'd be an early Christmas when I'm already seeing the Kmart commercial to lay away now for Christmas. Ughh!!!!!
They live. They die. They return. Zombies.

Christmas is just over two months away...so no biggy....
I remember when Halloween was two months away and I thought I was way behind on getting ready for Halloween

Well I guess to some of us it is a biggy. It not fair to put out christmas sometimes up to 4 monthes ahead of time, it is just so wrong! Us Halloween people don't get to see Halloween stuff in store till a month ahead of time and within a couple of weeks its gets condensed down to make room for christmas stuff. My local Kmart all ready has their Lawn and Garden center stuff full of christmas decor and prelit trees already set up and on. They even have to inflatables set up and on as well!

I just started Christmas shopping but I'm with you. I would like it to wait a few more weeks.

I don't enjoy Christmas at all, and thus tend to avoid any displays thereof. However, now that Rikki has taught me that there are some good Halloween uses for Christmas-intended craft items, I'm starting to appreciate being able to acquire them before the holiday that really matters.

Doesn't Hobby Lobby start putting out Christmas decor in August-ish? I know I feel all swimmy in the head whenever I wander into the wrong aisle.
