Bulk trash pick up is happening soon in my neighborhood and people are stating to put stuff out on the curb! It's like a scavenger's dream! Half a block away there are several sections of an old fence. I took about six of them and made them into coffin lids! It was pretty easy too. The furthest in the photo shows the sections as is, the middle shows them after I made 5 cuts in them and the closet shows the final product which had the edges spray painted and a cross painted in the middle. The rotting ends gave them just the right touch!
I also found an old trashed crib from the 70's that I'm going to use as fencing for a grave.
Hurray for trash!

Nice finds, I've got the husband on the look out for things I can use for Halloween. Not that he's much use all he's brought me is a large cardboard tube

Wow, those look great! I made my graveyard fence this year from wood my neighbor was throwing away.
They live. They die. They return. Zombies.

Fantastic find and you did a wonderful job with them.
I went dumpster diving at work, someone threw away a large flat box that had white foam slats that look like 1" x 4" x 36" and other foam that I am going to use to make a box to cover my fog machine once I make the slats look like wood. Lucky for me the box was too big for them to put in the dumpster, so it was sitting beside it.
