Thread: Weather alert for N.Eastern decorating folks

This has caught my attention and I want to pass it along. Those of us in these parts dying to decorate outside in a major way always have to keep an eye out. This is exactly why I wait so close to halloween to do the major yard decorating. And trust me, it sucks!

Good luck to all of you out there. Adjust your decorating plans accordingly and if you're already set up in a major way, batton down the hatches!

Same here, I do it all on Halloween night, but still, more rain will suck right now.

Ok I am gonna go out on a big limb here and say for everyone in the NE...... WTF????? mother nature is really pissing me off!! all though I say get all this rain out of your system now because if you even hint about raining on Oct. 31 I will be on the war path. But back to the storm that's coming I have 19 4x8 plywood walls bolted together in the front and rear yard. I need to come home from work tomorrow and figure out how to anchor them down so they don't become a wind sail... GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!

aw man. I'm on the outside of that in KY. If it looks like the weathers going to turn ugly, I'm going to have to take some of my stuff into the house. grrr. we just set it all up this past weekend to. lol.

just checked weatherchannel.com and did the 10 for here. Looks like today and tomorrow is thunderstorms and then just a little bit chilly this weekend. Whew. I hope it actually stays like that.
