I have been sick meniere's diease and losing my hearing in my right ear. I already lost most of my hearing in my left ear. So this has left me depressed. Well, lately I have been in the christmas spirt and that is nornally not me.. I LOVE halloween, but I am not feeling it this year. So some reason I want to be around christmas light and my big pink and crystal tree. I guess I just want that homey feeling of christmas. So I came up with the Idea of putting up all my christmas stuff for halloween and dressing up as Mrs, Clause for halloween. I would get the best of both worlds.. Is this a dumb idea.. I think the neighbors would get a laugh out of it.
Thanks
Tia

If it makes you feel better, do it! Besides, how many kids get to trick-or-treat Santa Claus' house on Halloween.

There's someone in our neighborhood that does that, and passes out candy canes
If it makes you happy, why not?!

Hey, why not!
The only downfall of Halloween is it only happens once a year.

I'm sorry you're not feeling well. I have a friend who has Meniere's, and I know it's rough. Do what makes you feel best. If that means Christmas in October, so be it!

not bad idea. I may not have Meniere's but I am hearing impaired with cohclear implant. Do not let this stuff bother you. Go Celebrate Christmas into your Halloween and you will feel better. Why not get your Christmas tree up and decorated into Halloween theme?

Oh Ghoul, I'm so sorry to hear about the problems you're having. I also have Meniere's, and it truly sucks. Stress can really aggravate it, so try to do things that make you happy; the Christmas idea sounds great! Get lots of rest and avoid caffeine, too!
