As I drove along I went up into a cemetary. Along the hillside in a tranquil place I located a vibrant backdrop of yellow and orange hues among some old gravestones.
As I look up along this row of stones, the contrast and realization of life and death seem very real. The backdrop of a few remaining leaves hanging on provide some real context.
Glancing through the forest in the distance is a golden haze of leaves as far as your eye can make out.
Bright golden leaves hang out and down from low branches. These trees line the roadway along my drive.
Looking down this road is an ideal picture of what a neighborhood turning Autumn in middle america should look like.
Hope you enjoyed!
