Man I've seen a lot of threads this month on people who don't like Halloween and are giving forum members a hard time about their display... for whatever reason. Well here's one that goes the other way.
I had a bunch of Halloween stuff I wasn't going to use including a large inflatable my wife bought one year when I wasn't home for the holiday. My next door neighbor is one of those couples who say every year they are going to decorate more next year but, never do.
So yesterday I was like, hey Russ would you like to use some of the Halloween stuff I'm not going to use? He said heck yea I would! So we spent the afternoon decorating his house and before it was over his wife went off to the store to buy more stuff. It's not a huge display but, it looks nice and they are very happy with it.
So I say spread the joy with any decorations you may have and are not going to use, may help with Halloween haters. I'll get a picture tonight when he plugs in the inflatable and post it.

That was super nice of you! This year i moved from a house to a condo - so no yard. I sent some of my decos to my sis for her halloween party. I am also gloing all
out at a friend's house. She doesn't normally do it but I bet she will from now on!! Thanks for spreading the halloween love.____________________________

I did this just recently, too! One of the people who come in to work with my son (my son has autism) is a young dude who just got engaged over the summer. They don't have tons of money and he was talking about how he was in the Dollar Store and would be going back to pick up decorations.
I told him I had a bunch he could use since they just didn't really go with my decor, and I gave them to him. Basically it was two hanging dead dudes, one hanging scary mask thingie, some autumn leaves garland (fabric) and some tombstones.
He has already put them up. YAY.

Aww. You guys is good people. Again, I have to wonder why some folks are so dead-set against Halloween, when it really seems to bring people together.
My wife came home with a story. A co-worker was leaving her house yesterday, and was surprised to see a pumpkin on the step. As she left for work she noticed that EVERYONE ON HER STREET had a pumpkin on their step. Someone was doing some serious spreading of the spirit.

Last year just before Halloween I saw a fogger on sale for 75% off and decided I'd pick it up and give it to the neighbours. They always decorated just a little bit, but their kids really loved our yard.
But then I ran into the neighbour-lady - she said they weren't going to buy any more decorations - they just cluttered up the house and they'ed rather focus on Christmas. So I didn't say anything about the fog machine.
Halloween night, neighbour-man(?) shows up at the door with his kids TOTing and says "I think I'm gonna go out and see if I can get one of those fog machines on clearance tomorrow."
TAADAA! Gave him the fogger, and he ran home and plugged it in before the TOTers got there! (He had actually made a coffin for his front yard too.)
I think I've turned them to the dark side!

First I didn't get pics tonight but will tomorrow.
This is what I'm talking about everyone....spread the joy!
Halloween has had it's ups and downs over the years but, I believe, it's up to us to keep the spirit alive... 3,000 years and still going strong.

Spookyone and I were talking about what we got from Dollar Tree and she was like you can get that there? all of this for Dollar each? WOW! I think i am goin to head over after class.
