since I'm new to the forums, I'm posting a short movie i made of my last years yard haunt. Enjoy!

LOL! Ooogie booogie! That was great. ... I loved that head with the oozing liquid from the mouth. Do you still have that prop? I'm not really into gore much, but I'd love to see a close up, color video of that proper working, if you have one.

Excellent job on the video, btw. I loved the editing and the zombie news reports, very nice touch! I can't wait to see your vids from this year's haunt!

I do! I had to put it in a plastic bag so it wouldn't dry up and crack the latex. all i did was cut enough of the foam on the inside to fit plastic tubing inside. i had it come out the throat because of the gash on the prop. then get a small submersible pump to hook up to the tube you put into the head and a bird bath. the only trouble i had was keeping the head from falling over. so i put bricks on the sides to hold it in place. i added fake blood to the water to give it the blood red color. the only thing about the fake blood was that i foamed up. thinking of just adding food coloring.

heres the video of the prop in color and i added a sweep of the yard in the daylight right before the ToT arrived.

Thanks everyone! i love playing with my new video editing toy lol! I haven't taken any pics or videos yet because i haven't started setting up my haunt yet. just a few items out in the yard so people who pass the house will know were doing it again. i'm trying to work out the bugs in my crypt, going to put a peppers ghost this year. if it doesn't work out, i'm putting the FCG back in.
