    Hey everyone!
I am having issues right now with our weather... It is HOT than COLD, HOT than COLD again! Grrrr! Will our High & Low pressure systems make up their minds!!!

The rain at times is great and much needed to keep the mountains green and capped with snow in the winter. The fresh smells of the soaked wood, leaves and surroundings give it that true fall season feel! But I still want less of it in October ya know!

I get ready to finish touching up my props when its warm out than the cold comes in overnight and back to rush putting it away before the Rain comes. Then again pull out my tools and props for refinishing than again.... RAIN! WIND and Flashflooding! Now the forecast states warm tomorrow with light chances of drizzle in mountain/foothills areas(where I am)...

This is frustrating because I had a few chances to get things done before the big night and the weather just keeps setting me back! I'm affraid to take everything back out and set-up again to find the weather reversing once again! Crazy SOCAL weather!

WHO Said it never rains in California? They are mean fibbers!
A Halloween prop is a terrible thing to waste..

It stopped raining here after almost 5 straight days. The next 5 days look beautiful so planning to make up for lost time and start the outdoor display. That said, I'll deal with rain as opposed to the high winds we had last year.

No Doubt! 113 last week, then 63 a week later? That is straight up crazy. I'm over it. I love the cooler weather but I don't have time for rain in October or December. Mother Nature really needs to start consulting me first.

I've been dodging the raindrops and decorating anyway, and I have made sure that most of my props are waterproof and those that aren't are under my overhang. (Too many prepositions in that sentence!)

I LOVE the rain, especially in October. Remember just a week or so ago when we were all crying because it was over 100 degrees? I am just LOVING the overcast, drippy skies, the chilly mornings...it really does make it feel like fall! Hang in there...the sun will shine again...in fact, this Sunday it's supposed to be 92 here in the San Gabriel Valley, so those of you farther inland will be in the 90s too, and sunny!

I turned off my sprinklers for both cycles this week. We don't get flooding in our garage, but our sun room "leaks" a little.

Tons of projects to work on and rain is on it's way. Kind of regretting converting the garage right about now. Normally I LOVE the rain, but it's stressing me this year.

I can deal with the cold, but yep the rains a nightmare. I'm keeping my fingers crossed we'll all get a nice crisp dry Halloween night.
