For anyone who has been in a Spirit Halloween store recently, you've undoubtedly seen the really cool bubble fogging machine that spits out bubble with smoke inside of them, so that when they pop, the fog drifts out. Adults and kids alike were completely mesmerized by the unique effect. Very Harry Potter, but at $70 (without the bubble/fog juice), I had to pass.
However, today when I was in Target I found the very same bubble/fog machine under the Target brand for only $50. Plus, the bubble fog juice was only $5 per bottle, rather than the $8 at Spirit. That was a bubble of a different color for me, so I snatched one of the two that were left! The sales associate who was stocking up the shelves with other stuff told me that he personally had put out twelve of them just yesterday. Looks like it is going to be one of the hot items for this year.

We bought ours two years ago from Target and it's still going strong. Then again, it was only $24.99 then. Man, the price has gone up a lot.

Yeah I saw one of those at Halloween city the other day and I sadly passed it up but even my hubbie (who's not into halloween as much as I) thought i t was so cool. I'll have to check out my local target soon. Thanks!

Ah... supply and demand. We got ours last year for about $20. Now everyone seems to want one and the price shot up.

I also scored last night at Target. They have fogger timers for $9.99. That"s almost 10 bucks cheaper than other places, I picked up 5 of them.

I have two $5 Target cards we got from buying certain products during the year to use and thought I would apply it towards halloween maybe. I was in Target yesterday and have to say that aside from the bubble fogger for $50 and the Rocking bat for $20, there wasn't much of anything else I had any interest in. Last year I bought the silverly skeleton server arms. I use to always find stuff I liked there so am disappointed in their selection this year. So far I still have the cards unused because I'm not coming up with lots of ways to use the bubble fogger in my haunt set up to justify the price even at $50 or less.

I was in the local Spirit today -- didn't have them. They did have them last year, and my daughter (1 1/2 at the time) was totally gaga over it. Haven't seen them at our local Target, either.

Got the same one from Walmart 2 years ago for $20 on clearance.... kids love it.
Gotta admit though, our Spirit store kicks ass this year with effort and setup.
