OK well i spent this past weekend setting alot of things up on my lawn. Could not do anything else so far cause of work and it has been raining too. But now I am SICK as a dog. I'm talking full blown out high fever (103.5), feel like i just got hit by a train, stuffy nose, coughing and sneezing. I feel like the walking dead(no pun intended LOL). I still have soooo much to do. I need to finish the graveyard, The bone tree and the butcher scene too. Oh the front window and the LEDs. I only have off on Thursday. Man i hate being sick.
This happens to me every year. But not this bad.
Sorry about the rant, But i needed to get it off my chest.![]()

Sorry to hear you are sick...doesn't this always happen right before something important, like a trip or meeting or w/e. Don't worry, get well, rest and when you feel better you will be able to finish what needs to be done. And ya know what... if it doesn't get finished, do the best you can and there is always next year. Just prioritize whats MOST important to get done first then got from there. Hope ya get well soon

Sorry to hear that.... You should take the time to let yourself fully recover. Don't try to push yourself through your projects or you might, not only drag out your sickness, but you might not like your finished projects as much having done them in a feverish haze. Get yourself lots of vitamin C, rest, watch a Halloween movie marathon or something, some antibiotics if possible. Consider it an investment in your health. You're lucky to get this out of the way early in October!

Not sure why we get sick at the worst times (not that there's ever a good one), but hope you're feeling better soon.

Chicken soup! –
10-06-2010,06:00 AM
Hallow sleepersatty99! So much excellent advice from everyone. It may be allergies, since it always hits you about this time of year. Yuck. I have that too.
So Mamma HSB reminds you that there is nothing like good ole-fashioned chicken noodle soup to banish the fever banshees! Hope you feel better soon - and, as everyone says... don't fret about your decorating. What get's done - get's done. What doesn't can wait for next year! BOO!!" TO SERVE MAN " ... IT'S A COOKBOOK!"

The same thing happened to me this weekend. I worked all weekend and have a lot left to do and wham. I worked Monday and Tuesday, but finally crashed last night for 14 hours. I still feel horrible and have no voice. I think it is all the dust and chemical stuff on the props when I unpack them. All this pollen and stuff has been stored for a year in plastic tubs in the scourching heat.

Good!!! We're all glad to hear that you're feeling better. Just a little advice, what I always take when I begin to feel bad is an herbal supplement called echinacea...it's very easy to find, and is totally natural so it should help to get your immune system up and running quicker!
Hope your Halloween is GREAT!!!
