I hear ya. Zip tied my last 2 chicken wire projects (now I DID cut and use a few wire prongs from the chicken wire)
I've been using duct tape on my witch and zombie. I'm making a full, unsupported foam filled, chickenwire zombie. I wrap in duct tape and then proceed to fill with GOOD STUFF foam.

No kidding! My top two absolutely can't do without items! I'd also add the hot glue gun to that list, as it has come to my rescue several times over the last few days. Don't know what I'd do without any of them.
