Wowee..... the odors released when opening the bins are strong enough to knock you off your feet. I washed up and can still smell god knows what on me.

I guess it's all worth a few years off my life expectancy!

God only knows what chemicals they are off-putting and what long term breathing of it will do. I try to air my stuff out for as long of a period as I can in our garage. I'm bothered by latex odors also so the more moving air the better.

hahaha! i opened my bin of burlap (that my husband used to cover the plants during the freeze last winter) and about two inches of rotted mulch spilled onto my front room floor. the burlap looks wonderfully aged and the earthy smell gives the room great ambiance, but who knows how many dust mites and other organisms i have loosed into my house. i swear i have been inhaling black mold...
halloween prop storage - we should all be wearing masks and breathers when we open up those bins! lol!

I wouldn't sweat it. According to most labels I've read, those things are only known to cause cancer in the state of California...

Ah well...you might have turned into a crabby old man during those last years anyway-better to trade them for some fun. ;-)

I got all of our outside lights up the other day. You're welcome, Georgia Power.

Yes, and just think - then you'll be able to use yourself as a prop! It's all good.
