    Hello all

My Gal scheduled our vacation this year at the end of October (24-29, leaving me only the 30th to get ready for the big day.... good thing I love her)

However this gives me the chance to go to Universal's Halloween Horror Nights.

Hopefully someone can ring in with some advice.

I'm planning on going on Wed 10/27

Can anyone tell me if it would be wise to spend the extra $40 for the express tickets?

Also I read a post somewhere that each haunt was only a 5-7 min walkthrough..... Please, someone dispell this myth for me.

    Thanks so Much!!
    Happy Haunting

Being a central Florida resident for the past 20 years I've been to HHN several times and the express pass is the ONLY way to go. The houses are about 5 min, 7 min tops.. But the lines can be 60-75 min wait without the pass.

Just a bit of advise I give anyone even thinking about going

5-7 min really??? I find that kind of disapointing.
I'm in nashville and I don't think any of our local haunts are world class but I'm used to it taking about 40-45 min to get through a haunt. Granted, I doddle and gawk...
Of course I didn't expect them to be that big at universal... I was thinking 20 min
Maybe I'm just spoiled.... maybe Nashville haunts are better than people give them credit.

I'll actually be going on the same night as you as well. Wednesdays typically are NOT that busy, so if you get there early enough and plan on JUST hitting houses and not riding rides, you SHOULD be able to breeze through them without TOO much trouble.

I am planning on getting the Express Passes anyway, just in case.

Yes, the houses are only about 5-7 minutes long, but the detail and everything that goes into them is incredible.

I'd definitely recommend the express pass. Very worth the money.
