So do you have a preference on your bags of webbing. I know the guns etc are great but, if you just use the pulled webbing from the bag is the dollar store any better or worse that 3.99 at Target for example.
I want to pull it out for a lot of coverage long versus wide. I have only used it on smaller areas. It worked great for that but, if I wanted to pull it long to come down from the roof to the ground similar to that cool house someone posted that was wrapped in the stuff. Will be $$ make a difference?
Thanks!!

Not using webbing this year making a giant web out of rope, it withstands the elements better imo.

I big pink puffy heart love the bagged webbing.

I don't know what brand names are out there, but the best one is the one that feels like rough nylon. I usually tear a tiny hole in the plastic bags to double check. If it's not the rough almost scratchy stuff, then it's not the good stuff. There are webs out there that feel really smooth and silky and they don't stretch for crap and break way too easily. I bought a bag of that by mistake and ended up having to make a quick run to the store to replace it.
I've bought the "good" stuff at dollar stores, Walgreens, Target... it doesn't matter where you get it as long as it's the right kind.I'm a Halloween Bride! 10/31/2002

I've pulled the $3.99 bag from Walgreens longer than 30'x20'. The trick is to go slow and make it as big as you can before you actually start stretching. After its had time to"relax" you can pull for the 3D effect.
Undead and loving it!

Awesome, thank you for the help and tips. I do want to try the beef netting but this year is not the year. I don't have to worry too much about elements as I can't do a lot till really close to Halloween. Rain, well at this rate it will still be a freaking 100 degrees in AZ... Although, it might burst into flames... Oh that would be cool.

FG is correct in her assessment of the webbing. Don't use that silky stuff, it doesn't grab as well. Use the cottony type like she said. I have a web gun but never used it. There are some places around which you just don't want to start shooting hot glue threads.
