    I'm much more of a lurker than a poster... but from what I have seen in the year or so I've been hanging around is that most people are quite friendly and helpful.

    While I'm sure there are people who won't tell... I think by far most of them do share (that's why were here, right?) and don't mind giving tips or tricks....

    The idea though, is to take an idea of theirs, and make it your own- that's what makes all of these posts and threads so much fun!

    Not yet...I have found everyone on this forum very helpful and giving of their time and talents.

    I have "Borrowed" a few ideas for my haunt props from folks on the board. I have also sent copies of my prop plans out to a few members when asked....

    Even though the Pirate Code says that you should "Take what you can and give nothing back", I use it as more of a set of guidelines so to speak and try to help where I can....!

    I think that if you show the prop, you should share how you made it. Sometimes tutorials and behind the scenes pics would be nice, but you can't require someone to take pics of every step in the construction process. I've always gotten the feedback I've asked for.

    This forum everyone seems pretty helpful. I have been on other forums where they would not even show you their display in fear you would "steal" an idea. I love how open we all are in helping one another.

    I'd understand why some wouldn't wanna share, but so far I haven't seen anyone that isn't willing to share, or at the very least, PM someone some info.

    I try to give advice and post links

    Some people try to inspire others with pics

    Others lend props and tools

    Others provide templates or help with projects
