Well after a month of prop building ( 15 new stones , lighting, grave grabber, coffin chiller, lightning effect, etc) this weekend starts the Halloween “holiday” here for us. A lot of state parks here in Michigan have “Harvest Fest” camping throughout the month of October. This weekend has become a regular event for our gang and is an absolute blast. Weather is going to be in the mid to upper 40’s, the smell of a campfire burning, falling leaves, spooky sounds, does it get any better????? Oh yea, cold beer, 600 jello shots for “adult tots” (that’s what we usually hand out every year. We have become known as the jello shot group). We will be going for a 3 peat on the best decorated lot. ITS G-O TIME!!!

Sounds like FUN!

Man that sounds awesome! Its finally starting to cool off down here and its really getting me in the mood to decorate. The husband has until Friday afternoon to cut the grass or my cemetary goes up as is. I told him not to bother anyway cause graveyards are always overgrown when their spooky!

wow that sounds like a blast! we have Octoberfest similar to like what you described , and a Neewollah event they call it few cities over, gunna be a great year!!

In looking at the map of the camground it appears that there are about 280 lots filled at this point with most of them decorating to some level. TOT is 6-8pm on Saturday for the kids.

Sounds great, although temps in the 40's sounds more like hot chocolate than cold beer weather to me!

I have everything out except my animatronics I should be up and going on saturday.
