Hello everyone!
I was just in my garage getting ready to start my pre-halloween general testing for functionality. I'm goin through all my stuff which was fun, but I do fear finding a few products damaged or in non-operational conditions. It happens to me every year!...
So who else is going to get started with the dreadful testing of haunt equipment/goods?

It's on the agenda for next week. I pull out all of my lights and foggers and check them, replacing any malfunctioning stuff. The two foggers I have "should" be okay, but if not, I have time to repair/replace them.

I went through supplies today and tweaked a few skulls from Tombstone peekers. Tomorrow I will begin to set up slowly.

I actually have 8 foggers but 2 dont work anymore. I am looking to buy 4 more this weekend though. This should have my street fully engulfed with erie smoke...

I dont have a huge haunt but I do have alot of wind to battle every year. This is the reasons for my many fog machines. I have 2 fog chillers and 4 working(hopefully!) 700w foggers. I use at least 4 gallons of fluid each year running them for roughly 5 hrs. Thanks for the finger crossing!

I started testing equipment and installing batteries a few days ago. I inherited about a gazillion AAs and AAAs from a relative last year, and now I'm putting them all to good use in both items for my haunt and those I'm selling.
The only thing that's been problematic so far is my skull fountain. I got it working perfectly once so I know it can, but most of the time it's sending water all over my kitchen countertop. I think the problem can be solved through judicious use of duct tape. We'll see.

Been there, done that.
I check the foggers a few times a year, just to get a "Hallowe'en Fix". This year we have an Industrial Fogger that blows continuously, 20,000 CFM. I'll need to monitor the fluid level throughout the night.Wolfman

I started decorating last night and was anxious for it to get dark so I could test lighting. I got the ladder out to change out regular bulbs in patio lights only to find out the most important one has the screws stripped. UGH!!! I really need that light to be green. Hubby is suppose to work on it today. I'll be texting and calling him while I'm at work to remind him.

Yes, there is always anxiety when we first plug the foggers in , run a cleaning cycle, and pray the gods of malfunction have again passed us by like the great pumpkin....lol. We currently only have 2 foggers 400 and 800 and a bubble fogger. But with the expansion of our haunt to the cellar and the addition of a laser vortex we are going to have to add 2 more (one big one small). Yesterday was the day for us and everything seems ok. Crossing our fingers for you and everyone else... Cait
