Thread: Good Price on Bagged Candy?

Hello...I always send a LARGE bucket of Halloween Candy to my DH office. I was visiting him today and had someone ask me about it...I said "its coming in a few weeks"
So...at Krogers today they had snickers, m&ms, milky ways, twix, three musketeers, ect on sale 2/$4.00. They had peelie coupons of the bags for $.50 off each bag, making it 2/$3.00. -or $1.50 per bag. I think that seems like a good deal, because a lot of times the bags are at the $3.00 mark. Thinking of stocking up tomorrow after work...do you guys think its a good price? I hate to pass up on a good deal waiting for a better one when it might not come along....
I know a few years ago that I may have gotten it cheaper, but those sale days seem long gone...
Bought some M&M cpns off ebay for $1/2 bags...if they go on sale for $2/4 (which sometime they do at Wal Mart of Target) thats a good deal as I need lots for my candy buffet....
BTW Kroger also has recyclable grocery bags in Halloween themes for $.99! Black with orange jack o lanterns, tan with jack o laterns and bats/trees.. and orange with a black jack o latern and bats....LOVE THEM!

I got one of those reusable Halloween bags last year and I love it.

The Kroger I typically go to is ultra ghetto and doesn't have them so it's good to know that they are out again this year. I'll run by one of the nicer Krogers.

i say you better grab the candies while you can. Who knows what kind of deal they are doing these days. Costly they are!
