The Halloween Virus is spreading in my little apartment complex!!!! I've been showing off my props and talking with my neighbors about how we're planning on doing the center cemetery, and I got them infected with the Halloween bug. They are now TOTALLY on board with doing a full haunted graveyard, and dressing up for Halloween. I'm really excited now. I was excited before actually. Now I'm ecstatic. It's going to be so much easier to do the graveyard with all of the neighbor ladies helping, plus, they have TOOLS!!!! Yay!!! and they've got some awesome ideas too. so, who have you infected with the Halloween bug?

I had a 2 year old here a little while ago and she was amazed that I made all of the cemetery stuff. I was so amazed that a TWO YEAR OLD was asking me so many questions I couldn't think straight. It was so cute when she clapped at my accomplishments and then asked if I made the lights too...lol!

Spookyone and I are helping to do MCTC deaf halloween party this year. The people seems to be really into it after hearing ideas from Spookyone and me. Does that count?

That's awesome! That counts double!
I just remembered - my nephew (who turns six today) is obsessed with Halloween and is having a Halloween themed birthday party. Yeah, I think that might be my fault.
He's going to be Jason for Halloween (!!! Seriously don't know where that came from - I ain't responsible for that) and plans to pretend to be a dummy in the front yard and scare people when they get close. I think his plan might be a *little* flawed.

Ok, so more news. It was originally just supposed to be me and two other neighbor ladies doing this. Now it's me 4 neighbor ladies, two teenage sons and 3 husbands helping out. We knocked out 25 tombstones and crosses today, and decided to expand the graveyard another 25 feet to include a tree in it that we can have a motorized zipline ghost going back and forth and body parts and a spider victim. We've only painted about 5 of the crosses so far, but for four women using one jigsaw, hammers, nails, and an electric screwdriver with menfolk occasionally helping out, we seriously kicked some tombstone ass today. So proud of what we've accomplished so far. will post pics once they are all painted and stuck in the ground (we actually have to soak the ground here to get the stakes in it's so hard)
