Thread: How many Haunters ask for Donations ?

I just wanted to see if anyone asks for donations, alot of people have just offered us money because of all the work we put into it ever year.
I explained to them, we do this because " This is what we enjoy doing."
What are some of your thoughts on Donations ?

Put OUT A unicef box. If people want to donate you can help kids.

I agree! If people want to give you donations, why not have it go to a cause? You could sponsor something close to your heart, or change it up every year.

We do accept them, if a Haunt Goer would like to, we do give the option, but never ask.

I've been thinking of putting out flyers for my haunt asking people to donate canned goods for a local food bank. but I'm not sure people will want to tote canned food around walking in my neighborhood.

But NEVER ask as I would do this anyway as I enjoy it, parents and kids are out to enjoy and not to "pay" for fun on Halloween night..............
