ahhh, sorry to hear that. But you can get caught up on all the threads here on HF! sometimes it's so hard to find the time to do that.
BTW there's always shopping online or at least screen shopping (like window shopping).

I'm in the same boat! I missed work for 2 days for being sick and plus my right wrist swelled up (tendonitis) so I couldn't even finish making my dolls look evil... :-( . AND... someone in my neighborhood beat me to having halloween lights up.... sigh. I can't wait to feel better.

Cheer up... you can still watch halloween movies, listen to halloween music, search Halloween websites, purchase halloween decorations online, and plan props.....
but i would just take the day off and try to get better....
Sadly, you got sick on a weekend but on a positive note you can use sick days from work around Halloween
