...just 5 days left until my roomie will let me put up Halloween decorations...little does he know I've already started transforming and putting up little knick knacks here and there. (He hasn't noticed the glass skull I've put in the living room last week so I'm just going with it until he says something. haha)

Who else is putting up stuff on the 1st?

Don't plan showing my full hand all at once! I think the 1st, Ill put out the giant spiders, then go from there!

ChangedReality, what does your roomie have against putting stuff up early? It seems rather pretentious on his/her part to dictate when YOU can put up YOUR stuff.

I've already done all the inside stuff - I finished a week ago!
I keep saying I won't put anything outside before the 1st but if the weather is nice during the week, I may start with some small stuff like spider webs, etc. and build on that.

Changed- it's very nice of you to respect your roomie's no decorations til October rule. (other than the subtle hidden things lol!) It doesn't seem fair for them to dictate when you decorate, But your compromise is fair, and trust me you don't want to get into fights with your roommate over decorating! the halloween arguement will lose 9 times out of ten.
