This guy showed up on my porch tonight. I would say he's about an inch long

I searched the web and I think this is a female Arabesque Orbweaver. I put down some sod last week I wonder if she came along for the ride?

Beautiful pic! We get spiders like that every night between our fruit trees. They're gone in the morning, so my husband warned me about walking between the trees at night. That would really be hilarious, as long it wasn't me!! I'd be flailing around like a maniac at the thought of one of those spiders on me!!! Once we set up the cemetery, we usually get one that lives in the tree there and it looks just like yours....it's a good omen, maybe?
