so seriously. What is up with all of the glittered Halloween stuff? I don't remember seeing so many sparkly things for Halloween before. I can understand cutesy stuff I guess, but I'm just going to blame all the glitter and sparkles on twilight's sparkly vampires. I actually enjoyed the books, decent story line, plot, etc. The sparkles just get to me.

I don't mind the sparkles so much. They're a fad and they'll go eventually. But in the meantime, at least people are decorating!

Sorry...Ive been traveling around the country quite a bit lately and well....the glitter just tends to fall off at times. However Im only responsible for the purple glitter, the green, black and silver that is NOT ME!
Linus: You've heard about fury and a woman scorned?
Charlie Brown: Yes, I guess I have.
Linus: Well that is nothing compared to the fury of a woman who has been cheated out of tricks or treats!

I don't know... I thought the glitter started becoming more prevalent before the vampires took over. I think of it as more glam/goth than vampire and I think Martha Stewart had a bit to do with it too.

I think the glitter is a bit much (12 on a 1-10 cutsy scale) but as was stated, at least it's getting some new people into the haunting business... lol. Sadly it's a trend the rest of us will have to live thru for the greater good of Halloween.
But funny thing. I was standing in a Target the other day and I turned to the wife and sighed... everythings all glitter. At that moment a total stranger walked right up to us and said something like: "YEah, it really sucks doesn't it?
I almost fell over laughing that an offhand comment created such strong emotions in someone that they had to vent to a total stranger... lol. I dont like the glitter but realize it'll pass, and it's basically a matter of personal taste anyway. BUT some people REALLY hate the stuff like it was Halloween crytonite or something...lol. Cait

Personally, I love the black glitter skulls and such. I can take a small amount of the silver, as long as it doesn't look like a disco ball, but I am NOT a fan of the hot pink and lime green skeletons and pumpkins at Target this year! Love the black though...
And I think Martha Stewart is more to blame than Stephanie Meyer. She's been pushing this stuff for the last several years.Dear Sweet Leota, Beloved By All. In Regions Beyond Now But Having a Ball...

I STILL blame 'Twilight'...
D@!&%*! 'Sparkly Vampires".....

I'm at that awkward stage in life... Somewhere between 'Annoying Fanboy' ...and 'Dirty Old Man'...
