so ive been collecting houses for 4 years now, but they seem to attract dust on them at the end of each halloween no matter what. I was wondering if anyone had any tips or tricks to clean them. Theres always the pledge on a rag but some pieces are so fragile i dont want to risk breaking anything.

    thanks a head of time.

How about one of those dust busters people use for their computer.

For the large houses we use the handheld piece of our vacuum with the brush (non-twirling) stuck on the end of it. It works well for sucking off dust (we have a super sucker vac, too! *lol* so that helps!!) without us even touching the houses with the vac piece.

Canned air does wonders to blow the dust off the delicate areas. The not so delicate spots I always clean up with a damp cloth. Everything then gets put back into it's box and stored in the closet. I guess I'm pretty lucky and nothing has gotten too dirty over the years.

I used the canned air on all my collectibles. Don't use any type of cleaning or dusting product, they all leave residue that will just make the dust stick and may discolor the pieces.

feather duster. if you keep up on it, it will work great. they have static ones now that recharge when you roll the handle in your hands.

I have the perfect solution here. Send them to me and I will take clean them for you. The only down side is sometimes the package will get lost in the mail when I ship it back

I use the canned duster buster for my village.
