So it was a tough decision this year on what houses an accessories to put up because still living at my home (im 22), i dont have an extra room where i can set up every single house i have ...so i had to make due with a small section in my room this year. I like to make a story to go along with my spookytown as many of you might know from my recent village. so here it is...lettme know if you guys like it!. thanks for looking....
So basically heres these kids around a camp fire in the woods( i loved this piece because it reminds me of my favorite show "are you afraid of the dark?"), and the middle kid billy is telling the tale of a park that only exists in parts unknown, its a haunted amusement park called "The After Dark Park". What happens at the park, never leaves the park. Those that survived and came back say that once your on a ride you never come off of it!. The After Dark Park doesnt open and doesnt close, its a non stop horror shock!....a place where your nightmares become reality and where reality becomes fake. Around the same time every night any child left walking around in the park becomes a victim of Mr. Grim an his horse darkness, and they take these children to the house on the hill where Doctor Sween performs experiments on them.
Basically thats the little story...i figured this year id do an amusement park theme since i have alot of houses, etc that could be in an amusement park. So 3/4 of my collection had to sit in the attic which im a little dissapointed, but i think it turned out pretty good non-the less.

Really neat looking stuff! This is totally the kind of hobby I could get into if I had more money to play with. As it is, I have to direct all my Halloween funds to the yard haunt.

I love the campfire piece! I have a 23 year old daughter (also living at home!) and "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" was a staple in our house when she was a kid - the piece does remind me very much of that show. Hmmm... I need to see if it's available on DVD!

Nice display. Its neat that you create stroies to go with your set up.

I like the spread... I have 3 houses and part of a cemetery that I have been building slowly over the past few years.
Like you I have the same problem with finding space and room to put up a proper display scene.
