So I was working with some of my guys on our haunt in a mall and we went into the front waiting area that we have divided and on the floor I thought I saw what looked like a tiny snake, thought maybe it was just my eyes playing tricks on me, or a piece of wrie or something, but as I moved closer....IT MOVED! I am terrified of snakes, so glad I saw it from a distance and was ready for it and it was little. So I did not freak to much. My other 2 guys took something and gently raked it into a box and took it home. It had bands and they think it is a baby python. We don't have them running wild around here, have no idea how it got there. It seemed very cool and did not try to strike or anything, seemed gentle. There is a pet store down the hall, maybe it escaped?

A baby python?! Yeah I'd be runnin'. Also I'd check & see if the pet store is they're missing anything - and you might want to mention they need to check for mouse holes/escape routes!@

Wow that's great - your haunt is so spooky it's spontaneously generating its own props!

A co-worker gave me a giant 10 foot long rubber snake & it's sitting on my carport & even though the thing is a pretty blue & green, it still freaks me out a little.

About 20 years ago I was moving out my Halloween stuff from the basement & saw what I thought was a piece of a boot shoelace. I kicked it with my foot & it moved!!!

It was on the cold basement floor so it was slow moving. I scooped it up into a big glass jar & ended up letting it out in the nursery behind us. Which is probably where it originated.

Turns out it was a baby black snake which are common around here & start out banded.

Check with that pet store first in case it is a python or boa, because if you live in a cold area of the country, it won't make it through the winter & if you live in a warmer area it will get huge & be invasive.

I hope it's an escapee instead of one someone just dumped. Good call on raking it up, because even if it is a constrictor, all snakes have teeth & will bite.
Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers, the best damn little band you should be listening to!

That is so cool. Did the snake have markings like this? This is Alohanani a probably now 8' Tiger Reticulated Python

Or maybe this? This is our 4' Ball Python who we never named.

Or more like this? This isn't my snake but its a burmese python about 6 or 7' long.

Poor little snake, I hope he makes out ok. One time I was in the mall and saw a hamster ball rolling down the middle. It was several stores away from the pet shop and heading into Express. I ran for it and brought him back to the pet store because I could TOTALLY see some little brute happening upon the ball and giving it a hearty kick or something.

Snigglez - they're beautiful! I just have fuzzy critters in my house - nothing more exotic than 3 cats & a Beagle.

Snigglez beautiful snakes, their scales look immaculate. You must spoil them rotten. I have Cat tormenting Tortoise...not quite as glamorous as a snake, he's basically a walking brick that poops lol

Thanks, I have another snake that's a corn snake and then a tarantula. Then we have the usual cat and dog. I think whats really funny is when people come over and see the cages they say wow you must have a lot of boys. I say why is that they say cause of the snakes and spider then I say ohh those are my pets and they give me the strangest looks.
