I collect what I call "seasonal art" which means I rotate the art on my walls depending on the season. Some of my Halloween art is purchased but most of it is created using my printer and images I find online. A 8" x 10" format is easy to frame and allows me to display several pieces together. I'm always on the lookout for interesting frames, especially gothic or victorian style. I paint them black so the different shapes and styles relate better together.

While some artists do produce Halloween oriented art there are a lot of other artists whose works have a haunting or spooky feel to them. . A good example is artist "Angelina Wrona". Many of her pieces incorporate subjects that work well for my Halloween decor.

Why don't you use a program called Rasterbator? A forum member mentioned it last year and I've been using it ever since. It is a freeware program and I use it for making ALL of my templates (especially my tombstones and cutouts).

Depending on the quality you set will depend on how much ink you use. You can make the pictures as big as you want.

Here's their statement - "The Rasterbator enables to create large rasterized posters from your digital images, using a regular size printer."

I plan on making pictures/posters that fill my sliding glass doors for Halloween. Sure, you can buy pre-made ones from the dollar store and be like everybody else, or you can strive to be different than the rest.

    Here's a link http://www.snapfiles.com/get/Rasterbator.html

    Hope this helps?

Thanks for the lead. Sounds like this would also work good for enlarging patterns. I like to make Halloween and Christmas yard art and often use a projector to enlarge patterns. This program sounds like it would be great for making larger copies of my patterns.

    Thanks again!
