The house I used to live in was a no outlet neighborhood, so we werent the street that everyone wanted to come to and trick or treat, plus there were only a few houses in the neighborhood which actually decorated. It was sad.

This year I am creating all new props for my girlfriends house (since I live in an apt and I had to give away all my old props). Her neighborhood is in the prime location to be scary on Halloween because they usually have over 400+ kids roaming the neighborhood (keep in mind that its street apon street apon street, probably a few miles long), and yes its considered the same neighborhood development.

So with so many kids, I find that I can decorate as much and as scary as I want, I was actually given a challenge by my girlfriends mom to deck out her house this year with the stuff I like. Not their cutesy decorations. I wont get as much done as I would like but I just for the most part finished my ghost, and then I will be working on pillars and a corpse and we will have ambiance music looping. I wont get time to do a fence probably or a graveyard scene but we will still have low lying fog along the ground to make it more interesting.

I hope everyone gets as many kids as their neighborhood does because that is the way to do it! We actually have people come from other cities (relatively close of course), come to her neighborhood because they give out the best candy and there are so many houses you can get 1 piece of candy per house and still come back with a few hundred so its worth it to everyone.

2 years ago we only got one, but when I was still trick r treating I can remember the streets already being mostly empty and most houses not giving anything out anymore. So imagine my surprise when last year we got well over 50 tot's. It was a crazy turn around I think it's just a matter of our neighborhood now having quite a few families with children.

3000.... you read that right... we have 3000 tot's on halloween night. add parents and youre talking about 5000 people on our street. For the whole month I would guess we have 10000 people come by to look at the decor. The whole street goes out for Halloween, like others do for christmas.

I will say on a good night (year) about 40.
The only downfall of Halloween is it only happens once a year.

We live on a hill and many folks don't decorate for Halloween, so the first couple of years here we only got about a dozen or so ToT's.... Since I have been doing my Haunted Pirate Ship set up our numbers have gone up to around 100 ToT's in 2008 and we got about 200 ToT's last year....!!!

The ships' doctor warned me that I've been partaking in too much wine, women and song and told me that I should cut back a bit.........I am really going to miss the singing.....

Not nearly as many as we used to. Too many school carnivals and church events to go to instead. Also, nearly every mall in the area encourages TOTs to come there and do their thing. I would have to say on a good night, about 50, not including parents and pets.

For our 1st year (last year it was) at our new place we got about 250 tot's.

This year I hope to get 100 more since are neighboors were really impressed they were going to let alot of people know.

we got around 10 two years ago and we had to work hard to get those.

last year we had over 100 kids. we did a lot of decorating but we were worried about theft and damage so we decorated that day.

this year we are going all out and decorating early so we are hoping for a couple of hundred (fingers crossed).
