    Goodmorning everyone!

I'm looking for some general feedback. I don't know about you... but I love going to the pumpkin patch. Farms here in the northwest are amazing. Some of you might think that its childish etc etc. But for me, I love to bring dates there. It's a cute way to celebrate the fall season. Tons of cider, warm doughnuts, the works!

What I'm getting at is... when do you go to the pumpkin patch? Do you have a designated date for every year? Do you go at the beginning of October? The end?

We do 2. One is a thrown together thing by a local nursery. They do a lot of inflatables. We go to that one twice during October as a little treat for our daughter (she's 10). The real one that we visit is Burt's Pumpkin Patch in Elijay (Ga). It's a couple of hours to get there and we go later in October because Elijay also has an apple festival the first two weekends of the month. You only have to be stuck in 5 hours of freaking apple traffic once to learn to start checking the calendar before you go to the pumpkin patch. Like they couldn't buy apples at Publix....

That's great! Sounds like a lot of fun. Here in oregon we have the pleasure of driving 30 minutes and having 3 or 4 different farms to go to haha

We have a couple of farms locally in AZ and there are some great ones for a weekend drive. We always make at least one to get into the fall mode.

Last year was the first year for our son so I took him during the day mostly for pumpkin photo ops. he was too young to really get it.

This year, I know we will hit up at least one and take him to our Boo at the Zoo event. Since the little one is mobile (running everywhere) he will enjoy it more. Of course might have to take a day off and have a date with the husband at one so we can sit and enjoy the fall colors.

My girlfriend's dad is a Farmer and his biggest crop is pumpkins.

No shortage in supply for me whatsoever. Hooray.

I LOVE the pumpkin patch! i usually take my little one when it gets a bit chillier here, like in early to mid October. sometimes we go even earlier than that if i'm feeling antsy.

We usually take the RV and spend an entire day at the pumpkin patch... first weekend in October.. it's a 60 minute drive for us, and with kids the RV can be a godsend, as well as a place to escape the elements (we've had rain, and monsturous heat in the past), and you can bring stuff for lunch for everyone and enjoy a nice afternoon in the country collecting pumpkins. =) We usually get 5-6 regular pumpkins, and then 1-2 fancy, and 1 large one.
How many days do I have left?

Well my father in law is having one this year, so we will be out there as soon as it's up and running. But normally I go when the weather is cooler.
