I live in Bellevue IA, right on the Mississippi river and just can't get over how fast the season is changing. Leaves are turning and the air is getting crisp and chilly. Area pumpkin patches are beginning to open and my kids already picked out their costumes. Is anyone else feeling fall in the air?

Ohhh, I know! I love it. I live in Ohio, and I've noticed the leaves are already changing. It has been pretty cool out, with just a few 'odd' warmer days here and there, but it's definitely starting to feel like fall.

Pumpkins stands, and harvest/halloween decorations are sprouting up every minute!

    I LOVE it

I actually just finished about 98% of my inside Halloween decor yesterday, very happy about that!

Unfortunately, here in Texas it's still 90+ degrees every day, and the only leaves that are falling are dropping dead from it being so dry. We don't get to enjoy the transition of leaf color in the fall down here that you guys experience in the Northeast, and I'm really sorry about that. Typically, we don't get to really start feeling the fall weather until middle to late October, but it can be early November before we ever need to wear a sweater. The good news though, is that we don't have to deal with all the snowfall you have every year!

Its wonderfully cool and crisp here in Pa. We also have a few odd warmer days. Got to go pick pie pumpkins out in the country in my cousins huge pumpkin patch yesterday, it was wonderful. From her farm we could see the prettiest yellow/gold tree with a brilliant red tree behind it!

My part of Southern California has been very warm in the day, but during the night it's been getting into the low 50s. Looks like we're going to start the week off on the cooler side though, which is nice. The only trees I've noticed turning are the maples. Many of them are gold now.

Fall is slowly emerging here too, in WV. Its arriving in its usual way, cool foggy mornings, usually in the low 50`s. A cup of fresh coffee warming a chilled soul. The sun barely above the mountains by 6:30 or thereabouts. Then, by afternoon its scorching hot in the sun. Today its about 82. Tomorrow, its predicted to be 90! Makes it hard to dress my daughter for school.
