Six weeks to go; what have you spent on Halloween so far?

    Latex cat prop; $40.00
Jumbo foam skull $5.00 (using 50% off coupon)
    plastic cleaver $3.00
    plastic chop saw $5.00
    latex bat $14.00
    2 sheets 2 inch foam $50.00
    assorted things for tombstone $20.00
    pool noodle $1.50
    _______
    $138.50

Still need stuff so this will go up by at least double but it's turning out to be a conservative year so far.

Holy cow! Was I supposed to be keeping track? You know, go to the thrift shop and get a couple things, go to the dollar store and get one thing or thirty, go to a garage sale, order stuff back in January and just find it under a pile of other stuff now, order stuff you didn't need just because someone else on here posted a website! Hardware stores I have the receipts but I don't want to look at all of them together, and still need more stuff!

Please don't make me add it all up--I don't want to know.

I normally don't keep track but this year am marking down what I spend. I'm sure there have been other little things that would add a few bucks onto this but these are the main expenses so far.
My wife will get a new costume this year, pumpkins, candy, a couple of masks, fog juice, some fake hands, etc.. It'll all add up. Just wondered if anyone else is keeping track.

Ummmm well I hate to put it in writing but I was curious the other day and tried adding it up. I am somewhere above $350 on decor &$160 on costumes. With our Halloween party coming in somewhere @ $200 and the shopping that will happen after Halloween, and prolly more that I pick up before then even....Oh my I will be lucky to get out of this season spending $750.That's why I don't keep track lol It's spread out at least so it doesn't hurt as badly!

I really should have been keeping track and making a budget for Halloween. Its too late to figure it out for this year but I really should next year. I already feel guilty because I know I spent a lot more than I should have, and I'm still needing things. OK, I have one New Year's resolution now.

I thought i had spent about $250 for my mausoleum but it was $150. I'm no good at math. So far with that and everything else i've built i would say about $200 and that includes candy.

Down then normal, not interested in many of the decorations that most of the places have this year. Or at least the ones that have the halloween stuff out. Wal-mart, K-mart and Target are still getting this out around here. I think by the time they do, halloween mmight be over. About $100.00 after Halloween purchases last year and so for about $120 for floating pumpkins for this year. Really, just need candy now, but I am sure I prchase some more items before halloween.

    A rough estimate so far,

    2 props online - $300.00
    fog machine - $49.99
    tombstone - $21.00
    fog juice - $9.95
    holographic portraits - 2 @ $19.95
red eyed evil kitty - $14.95
    severed arm and leg - 2 @ $1.99
    bucket o' blood - $7.99

Wow, looks kinda costly when I write it all down.
As I was going up the stair, I saw a man that wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today...Oh how I wish he'd go away.
