I was just in target tonight. They had foggers for $25 and timers for $10. Fluid is $5, same amount as michaels, but half the price, you get to save your coupon!.

You might be able to use the timer from Target with the fogger from Michaels. Use a coupon at Michaels. I think both stores are Gemmy foggers, so they should work together.

You could do the setup for about $30.

My foggers are all from Party City back when ALL the halloween stuff was 50%-75% off after Halloween. Then it took me a couple years to realize they work way better with timers and I bought cheap ones at WalMart for like $5.99. I bought them about 5 years ago, so they're probably about the same price as the Target timers are now. As long as the timer plug and the fogger socket match-up, they'll work.

Odd as last year I asked about the foggers and I was told that they never go on sale as they just hold on to them until next year. I saw them moved about 5 times throughout the year!

Hey TD, that $9.99 was for the timer only right? Which is not bad, but most likely not including a fog machine. I think if you buy at target or kmart it will be the cheapest around $35 including small bottle of fluid.
A Halloween prop is a terrible thing to waste..

What are you going to do with the fogger? Depending on what you want to do, depends on the wattage you want for the fogger. You can get a 400 watt pretty much anywhere for $20-25. I just bought a fog machine at Spencer's, they had 400 watt and 700 watt, one was $20-25 and the one I bought (700 watt fog machine), was $40. the fluid for a gallon was $20 which is about normal.

So really depending if its for inside or outside and what you plan on doing with it, is where you want to spend your money. Mine came with a nice timer also, I can set the duration of the fog and also the interval of it. Each fog machine has a different cool down time, so you get one for super cheap and then it does fog for 30-60 seconds and then has a 3-4 minute cool down time, kind of sucks IMO.

I looked around at a lot of stores and compared prices. I found that Spencer's was a good place though and I knew from going there when I was younger that they always carry fog machines.

I don't know if you're STILL looking for fog machines and timers,
I DO know there's a online company called celebrate express
that DOES sell the timers by themself for $16.99 and they
ARE made by gemmy and will work with the gemmy fog machines
and I'd say with other brands, they have on/off switches and
manual/auto buttons and a manual activation button, there's
two knobs to set how long you want the fog to spray and how
many minutes you want it to wait before it repeats.
