I need to work on my technique... but boy was it fun!
I did burn myself several times though...

Lookin' good! Will that all stay up till Halloween or does it have to be reapplied periodically? Never used one of the webcasters. That does look like fun to do!

It should stay up... it seems very resilient. However, this was just a practice run. I'm taking it down tomorrow. Also, as you can see, the patio cover isn't finished yet. We're going to finish it within the week. I'm going to enclose my whole front yard for Halloween....
You know what's funny? I didn't use a webgun. Just my air compressor and a hot glue gun. Most people probably have these things already.
Here's a great deal on glue sticks:

Looks nice! I'm still rocking the bag of plasticy cottony webs from the store

You will probably have to reapply. I have learned to save it as a last step to my decorating. Might just be the seasonal hot winds that should start blowing very soon out here in Southern Cali.

Wow, I'm surprised the picture is still up! I deleted it off my account already...
I have already taken my little practice web down. You guys were right, it doesn't stay looking nice for long. I also learned that holding the air nozzle in one hand and the glue gun in the other makes it pretty hard to both aim and make sure the web is shooting right. I'm going to make something like this:

The webbing does not last outdoors here in the Inland Empire, Ca as the Santa Ana winds are terrible in the month of October. As for the indoor props, it looks great! Very creepy! So I use both old stretch web and the webcaster.
A Halloween prop is a terrible thing to waste..
