I'm interested in getting a copy of this book, and it appears to be out of print. I'm seeing it for sale for prices upwards of $200! On the other hand, some places are selling it for around $20.
This page lists several copies from different retailers, with some of the "new" ones costing far, far less than a couple of used ones: http://www.google.com/products/catal...d=0CDMQ8wIwAw#
Can anybody explain the price differences? Are there different versions of this book?

It's mostly all reprinted stuff from last years halloween magazins, I guess. If you have them already, I would not bother, like this year's halloween special Martha's magazin.

People will charge what they think they can get. Sometimes editions are a first edition and that's important to some people, sometimes it's autographed, sometime there are different versions in either Hardcover, with or without a dust jacket, or maybe it's a softcover book. The regular magazines of MS might be considered paper I guess but I don't think the special editions she did were anything less than softcover. When factoring in the price I should also mention that there's also the condition of the book to take into account--Mint to poor. Sometimes missing pages, marks on the book (either by users or if the book went to a reseller it might have a mark on the top or bottom), bad binding, etc. all factor in. Book resellers will generally be upfront about the condition to be sure to read the details so you don't get disappointed.
I checked this publication out on Amazons site and OMG people must be trying to capitalize on the popularity of Martha Stewart, the fact that halloween is near and therefore this book would be desirous now, and the fact that the hard copy version is out of print and maybe the soft cover too so a matter of supply and demand.
If you are just looking to have a copy for your own use and your not a collector, I'd suggest finding someone with a good rating and picking up a copy at a reasonable price. Whether you prefer hard copy or soft copy is totally up to you.

Thanks for the advice, Ghost of Spookie!
Osenator, I don't have the magazines and the book looks like a nice collection, so I thought it might be cool to have a copy... then found it for sale for crazy prices.*

Maybe you can find the halloween special magazins for cheaper then? Just a suggestion.
